Health Sense – Older Adults

About

Health Sense for older adults is aimed transitioning lessons learned from the Health Sense project for children and seeing how a similar electronics and crafting based approach can help older adults. The goal of the project is to help older adults to create their own electronic devices while using the skills they already have from a craft or hobby. This includes developing a methodology to help them pickup the skills they need to work with an electronic toolkit quickly.

Current Studies

Planning of a study to form the needs assessment for the toolkit and methodology is underway. We are working to identify what types of devices or sensors might be most important to use. More details to be added soon once recruitment is underway.
